Anupam Kher justifies the boycott demands against Laal Singh Chaddha

Aamir Khan's film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' faced tonnes of negativity and boycott demands since its release due to which its box office collection was reduced significantly. While most of the celebs and Aamir's fellow actors extended their support to him and his film, actor Anupam Kher has openly justified the boycott demands against 'Laal Singh Chaddha'.

Initially, the veteran actor tried to negate the role of boycott trend on low box office performance of 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. According to a report in Times Now, he said, “Boycott se picture nahi chalti aisa bewakoofana hai. Two-three years ago, makers would want that their film to create some kind of controversy so that people watch it. Yaar kuch controversy nikal aaye, kuch viral ho jaaye to ye picture humari chal jaaye. I know that I’m part of the system. Now, this boycott trend is happening but how does it matter?"

"Everybody has freedom to express. If some people feel that they don’t want to watch a certain film then it’s their right. If a film is good and the audience likes it, there’s no way that it won’t do well," the actor further added.

Anupam Kher concluded by expressing that hate and toxicity against Aamir is justified by saying that, “If people have not liked something you have done in your past then they have a right to sort of feel upset about it. It will come back to you."
