Anukokunda Oka Roju
Some people embrace cliches like it is their shirt. Some people just abhor them. They just can't take the beaten path.
Director Chandrasekhar Yeleti certainly belongs to the second category. He just can't do things the way they had been done before. His film Aithey was as good an example as any for that.
It was a refreshingly original script and refreshingly original approach to the whole aspect of filmmaking.
His second offering Anukokunda Oka Roju also promises that and much more, too.
Starring Shashank and Charmi in the lead, the film has already kindled the expectations for original home-grown Telugu entertainment.
Most of the films that have done well have been either dubbed or just plain rehashes.
Chandrasekhar promises clean, crusty and gritty entertainment. But doesn't say much. Ditto for the lead pair.
Charmi only ventures as much to say that this will be one of her landmark films. All the songs in the film have been shot on her.
The music of the film is already a big hit. The music is by Keeravani and he has come up with some original and amazing score.
The audio release of the film was quaint --- a magician was at hand to release the album.
Hope the film also has some magic.
The film is set for release later this month.
