Actress Anu Immanuel has been in the news for her abrupt exit from the Amal Neerad's Dulquer starrer in which she was roped in to play the female lead. After a day's shooting with the actress came the news of her backing out from the movie. Both Anu and Amal had clarified that it was the date clashes that caused the back out.
However a recent interview suggests that not all was well with the actress in the industry. She made some bold statements this early in her career saying that heroines are not respected in the Malayalam film industry and that they are not given a space to voice their opinions and points of view. The actress is currently shooting the final schedule of her Telugu movie 'Oxygen'.
