Anu Emmanuel, who debuted in Telugu with the 2016 rom-com 'Majnu', is now expecting to have an image makeover with 'Maha Samudram'. The actress will be doing a 'hatke' role in this Ajay Bhupathi directorial, which mainly stars Sharwanand and Siddharth. Aditi Rao Hydari is one of the female leads.
Speaking to a national daily, Anu has said that she is excited about the Telugu-Tamil bilingual. "I can swirl and I can twirl! I'm that lighthouse who sets the sail!" she recently wrote on Instagram, sharing the theme poster of the movie.
In the interview, Anu also revealed that she will be playing an architect in 'Alludu Adhurs', starring Bellamkonda Srinivas and Nabha Natesh as the lead pair.
After the 2018 flops ('Agynaathavaasi', 'Naa Peru Surya' and 'Shailaja Reddy Alludu'), the Indian-American actress took a break from accepting run-of-the-mill movies. She must now be looking at making a huge mark with her two movies, which will release in 2021.
