Actor Antony Varghese, who recently dropped out of the upcoming Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj film 'Master', due to clash of dates, has signed a new movie. Unlike his previous films such as 'Angamaly Diaries', 'Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil' and 'Jallikkattu', his upcoming Malayalam project is a romantic tale. Titled 'Meri Jaan', the movie is touted to be a rom-com. 

Helmed by debutant Abhishek KS, the title poster of the flick was unveiled by the team as a new year's surprise. Written by Anuraj OB, 'Meri Jaan' is a college story set in Thrissur and Guruvayoor. The shoot is scheduled to start in the summer. More details regarding the cast and crew are expected in the coming days. 

Antony’s next release is Nikhil Premark’s directorial  'Aanaparambile World Cup'. The actor also has a bunch of other movies in the pipeline. He is currently shooting for 'Ajagajantharam' helmed by Tinu Pappachan of 'Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil' fame. Reportedly, the actor has also signed movies with young directors Nitish Sahadev, Nahas Hidhayath and Vineeth Vasudevan.
