Antony Perumbavoor replaces Dileep

Mohanlal's close aide and film producer Antony Perumbavoor has been elected as the new President of the Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK), an association of producers, distributors and theatre owners. FEUOK was formed by Dileep during an emergency situation in the Malayalam film industry, when he emerged as a real life hero bringing an end to a month-long theatre strike taking a severe hit during one of its peak seasons in the state.
The decision was made after the arrest of Dileep, who was the leader of FEUOK. Following his arrest, Dileep had also been expelled from all film associations including AMMA and FEFKA.
