School teacher commits suicide in Chennai classroom

A school teacher committed suicide by hanging on the ceiling fan of his classroom causing great grief for his students who cried uncontrollably. The incident happened at a private school in Neelankarai in Chennai.

Antony Jennifer aged 29 hailed from Kanyakumari and was working in the Chennai school for the past three years and was staying in the accommodation provided by the management. It is said that he is unmarried and it is unknown what pushed him to take the extreme step.
