Another villain avatar from NivinPauly!!! We are waiting

NivinPauly, the actor who has already made a solid fan base in Mollywood, is all set for a tamil movie again. His new project is the Tamil remake of popular Kannada movie UlidavaruKandanthe and named “Santa Maria”

NivinPauly made his Tamil movie debut with Alphonse Puthren'sNeram, which was a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual and a blockbuster. This flick is being crafted by debutant Gautham Ramachandran and notably this film will mark Nivin's second venture in Tamil film industry after Neram.Written on the basis of Rashomon effect, UlidavaruKandanthe is about a female journalist who is on a mission to uncover the truth behind an incident, and the story is told in five different perspectives.

The film was screened at the London Film Festival in 2014, where it was rated a 'dazzling epic'.

Director Gautham Ramachandran describes he put a huge effort for the draft and is quite happy with the final draft of the script.Also admitting the fact that they couldn't have pulled it off without Nivin'scontribution.Nivin was very actively involved in the scripting stage and he has got a great eye for details and understands all the appreciation moments of a scene

Explaining about Nivin's involvement, Gauthamalso shared: “While working on the last draft, recently, Nivin sat through one whole day — from morning to night — and finalised everything. My team was shocked by his commitment and his passion towards the project”.

The tamil movie taken a few elements from the original and weaved a new story around it. It's not a frame-to-frame remakeThe project will go on the floors from mid-May, and the technical crew features mostly Gautham's close friends.

Cinematographer Pandi Kumar was his roommate in film institute, while editor Atul, art director Jaya and music composer AjaneeshLoknath are his pals. The film's producers, Anand Kumar and Vinod Shornur, are Nivin's close friends.
