To commemorate the 50th year of the South India Film Artistes Association (SIAA) aka Nadigar Sangam, a mega starnite show was planned in Dubai last year.

Unfortunately, a death in the Royal Family of Dubai resulted in the show being cancelled.

Meanwhile, following the re-election of Vijayakanth and Sarath Kumar as president and general secretary of the association, efforts are on to go ahead with a show at Dubai on 28, 29 April to coincide the golden jubilee of the association besides garnering funds to construct a shopping mall at the Nadigar Sangam premises.

A team of 60 film personalities including actors, actresses, choreographers, stuntmen, music-directors and directors are slated to perform in the shows.

This will be one of the biggest teams from Kollywood that will perform outside India. Of course, the Malayasia and Singapore shows a couple of years back were bigger than this.

But this one will also be a united show of strength.

And Vijayakanth will yet again prove that he is very good mobilizing and rallying personnel for a good cause.

The Captain seems to be a real leader of men.
