Another slice of life film from Maha

Earlier this June, Venkatesh Maha, director of the critically acclaimed and commercially successful C/O Kancharapalem, announced a casting call—for three dusky looking and fluent Telugu-speaking girls—to front his second venture, without divulging the film’s genre. It is learnt that the director, who is producing the film along with his first producer Praveena Paruchuri, is trying his hand at another slice of life film just like his maiden film.
At the outset the film is a romantic drama but it will be a mélange of multiple genres, detailing and discussing life in general. The idea is to resonate with the audience at a deeper level. Presently, on locations scouting, Maha is planning to take it to sets in October and is looking to wrap it up by November. Like his influential work last year, this untitled film will be shot in sync sound as well.
