Kannada actor Kicha Sudeep is gearing up to work in the Kannada remake of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Gopala Gopala. Interestingly, Gopala Gopala itself is the remake of Bollywood movie Oh My God. Rather reprising the role of Pawan Kalyan as lord Krishna, sources say Sudeep has decided to step into the shoes of Venkatesh, an idol merchant in the film. Titled Mukunda Murari, the film will see a popular Kannada hero in Pawan Kalyan's role.

A source in the know says that Sudeep is apprehensive as to how his fans receive him in such a small cameo and made up his mind to play the atheist merchant in this remake. In the past, Sudeep acted in the Kannada remake of Pawan's Attarintiki Daredi. Like Telugu, the Kannada version too is adjudged as a blockbuster.
