Although the release date of his next Thipparameesam is yet to be announced, Sree Vishnu is making rapid strides on the casting of his next with debutant director Pradeep Varma. It is said the actor and his director have spoken to Malayalam sensation Aishwarya Lekshmi to be the film’s leading lady earlier this year and she responded in the affirmative.

The film is a cop drama which unfolds like a fast-paced action thriller and Lekshmi, a doctor who also had a brush with modeling, liked the script in total. The part may be small but she understood the overall importance of it in the narrative, before agreeing to give her consent in-principle. She has to work out her dates though as she is part of multiple Tamil projects right now.

To be filmed across Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and forests in AP, the film will have music by ’96 composer Govind Vasantha.
