Another heroine turns producer

The new entrant in the league of heroines venturing into production is actress Kalyani.

‘Seshu’ was Kalyani’s debut Telugu movie starring Rajasekhar in the lead and directed by Jeevitha Rajasekhar. A series of films like 'Hyderabad', 'Avunu Vallidharu Ishtapaddaru', 'Kabadi Kabadi', 'Pandem', and 'Lakshyam' served base for her acting career.

After she tied the nuptial knot with Suryakiran of ‘Satyam’ fame, she retired from movies for awhile. Now, she is coming back to the industry to regain her husband Suryakiran’s popularity as a hero. The actor is now in hibernation mode with no offers coming his way. So, Kalyani is becoming a producer and is set to remake the movie ‘Adhyayam Aru’ in Tamil casting Suryakiran in the lead.

The movie is now in the sets and shooting is undergoing in Chennai presently.

Even before Kalyani stepped in as a producer, Bhumika Chawla made her foray and is now making a movie starring her husband Bharat Thakur in the lead. It seems to prove the proverb, ‘There is a woman behind every man’s Success’.
