South India is in for a big fest in 2019. Prabhas' much-awaited action film 'Saaho' and Megastar Chiranjeevi's 151st outing 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' are clearly set for a grand Summer 2019 release. (Note: The Rajamouli-NTR-Ram Charan movie is allegedly gearing up for a 2020 release).

In comes the news that '2.0' won't be releasing this year. This Rajinikanth-Shankar magnum opus will be ready to hit the screens only in 2019. If it's Sankranthi, it will clash with Mahesh Babu's 25th film and Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'NTR'.

If the Prabhas-Sujeeth starrer is an action film, the Chiranjeevi-Surender Reddy behemoth is a patriotic biopic. '2.0', in contrast, is a trendy sci-fi thriller. 'Saaho' will have the widest release in Hindi. '2.0' too will have a huge release market in North India, thanks to Akshay Kumar.
