Actor Rajendran, who had worked in many movies in multiple languages as stunt double had got a role in Pithamagan directed by Bala and was later launched as a villain by Bala again in his National award winning movie Naan Kadavul.

After playing several negative roles, the actor had turned a comedian and was seen in many funny roles in movies such as Boss Engira Baskaran, Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Raja Rani, Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara, Naanum Rowdydhaan and many more.

Now Rajendran has turned a hero for the first time, and will be seen playing a serious role in the upcoming movie Robin Hood, which is directed by debutant Karthik Palaniappan. Vijay Sethupathi had revealed the motion poster of this movie which also stars RNR Manohar and Ammu Abhirami.
