Though his latest assignments with scripting in 'David and Goliath ' failed to click, Anoop Menon is still open to experiments, the latest being casting himself in a double role. The actor will have twin roles in the new V K Prakash movie 'Garudapuranam' – a sequel to the three decade old tantrik horror flick 'Sreekrishnapparunthu'. The movie will tell a story that passes through two eras- a modern one and the other which exposes the wicked sides of tanthrik and black magic. Arjun Mohan' writes the story which will be scripted by Parthan Mohan

Expected to be a supernatural thriller, National award winner Ouseppachan is in charge of the music department. The original ‘Sreekrishnapparunthu' was a movie written by P V Thampy and directed by A Vincent which featured Mohanlal, Balan K Nair, and Jagathy in the lead roles.
