Anoop Meon will play the role of a media person who owns a news channel in the Middle East in his upcoming movie. The movie titled 'Kanal' will have the multi-talented actor play the lead role alongside Mohanlal. This revenge thriller is being directed by Padmakumar.

Anoop Menon and Padmakumar had been waiting for a long time to associate together and it is now only that they have got the opportunity. A major part of the revenge saga is set in the Middle East. The shooting of the movie is currently progressing at the Hyderabad Film City. Honey Rose and Sheelu Abraham plays the leading ladies in the movie.
