Annadhaata short film, on farmer death

For Indian subcontinent, agriculture is still the back bone. The crop failure is always a death blow to a farmer who is known as Annadhaata` – the one who gives food. For such an Annadhaata` the safety is most discussed issue despite of various schemes announced by the governments.

From 1999 to 2014 nearly 3, 09,248 farmers have died. On an average 48 farmers dies every day is the statistics derived by Vachan Mania a bank employee in association with Benaka Team has come out with 10 minutes Annadhaata` short film. He has already put it to You Tube. A farmer with bank loan is left with no option when crops fails and bank barge in for recovery.

Nanjappa, Bhadrakalamma, Bore Gowda are actor sin this film. In Neelasandra of Magadi the shoot was held. This short film found a place in New Delhi and Mumbai film festivals.
