The second wave of the coronavirus pandemic has once again reportedly forced several big films to halt production indefinitely. The one film that is continuing is Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaathe' at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad.

We broke the news first to you that Superstar Rajinikanth resumed the final schedule for 'Annaathe' from April 9th and has given a call sheet till May 10th and he is said to be determined to finish his entire portions by that date. The team is following extreme caution and no one is allowed to go near the legendary star and many scenes have been canned without any glitch.

Nayanthara has also joined the sets recently and her portions with Rajini are canned right now. The aim is to safeguard the Thalaivar and complete his portions and then safely bring him back to Chennai in a private jet according to sources close to the team.

'Annaathe' directed by Siruthai Siva has music by D. Imman and stars Rajinikanth, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Khushbu, Meena, Jackie Shroff.,Soori, Prakash Raj and Jagapathy Babu. The film is releasing on Diwali this year worldwide.
