'Annaathe,' starring Superstar Rajinikanth, is one of the forthcoming projects with the highest expectations not just among fans but also in the cinema industry. The Rajini magic is needed now to pull the crowds back to theaters after long lockdowns due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Sun Pictures has officially announced that 'Annaathe' will indeed be releasing on Diwali this year and the date is November 4th, 2021. The announcement has come with a stylish poster that shows Rajini's looks upon his people.

'Annaathe' is directed by Siruthai Siva with D. Imman scoring the music and an ensemble cast involving Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi actors. The principal cast comprises of Rajini, Meena, Khushbu, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Soori and Jagapathy Babu.
