Angamaly Diaries fame Anna Rajan who played the female lead opposite Mohanlal in Velipadinte Pusthakam got into trouble after she made few comments on Mammootty in a recent channel programme. 

In the programme, the actress was asked about who she would choose as a hero if Mammootty and Dulquer Starred were to be starred together. And the actress jokingly answered that she would choose Dulquer to be her hero and Mammootty her father. Her comments went wrong among the Megastar’s fans and she faced huge criticisms on social media. 

To put an end to all misinterpretations, Anna came up with an explanation on Facebook live. “My comments were meant to be a joke and I had no intention to insult Mammootty sir. But few online media twisted the facts and public misinterpreted my comments,” the actress broke down in tears. She also apologized to the fans of both the stars, saying “I am nobody to compare Dulquer and Mammootty.”
