'Balloon' (Tamil), a horror comedy flick directed by Sinish, released recently to a considerably positive reception. Starring Anjali and her alleged boyfriend Jai in the lead roles, the film is in the news for the wrong reasons.

The producer of the film has come out with a complaint against Jai at the Producers Council. Stating that Jai was irregular in his call sheet schedules and shoots, the producer pointed out that most of the time Jai was to be seen in an inebriated condition in the sets.

He has also talked about a specific incident in the complaint. When a high-cost set was erected at Kodaikanal, the schedule allegedly saw a problem. Jai's "unethical" work behaviour resulted in a loss of over 10 lakhs for the makers.

The producer has demanded that Jai should make good for the loss by paying Rs.1.5 crore.

A demand was also made that Jai should be allowed to act in other films only after the said issue was resolved with the denoted compensation.
