Anjali turns crooner

The one trend fast catching up in Telugu film industry is actors and actresses doubling up as singers just like that. After Pawan Kalyan, NTR, Nara Rohit, Kajal Aggarwal, Trisha (in her upcoming movie, Nayaki), Lakshmi Manchu, Manchu Manoj, it's now the turn of Anjali to croon a song in her film Chitrangada. The playful song is music-directed by Selvaganeshan and Swaminathan. She has sung it in both Telugu and Tamil.
Ashok of Pilla Jamindaru fame is the director of this Telugu-Tamil bilingual. The film belongs to thriller genre. The heroine falls in trouble because of some mysterious forces. This one is yet another heroine-oriented film in which Anjali is acting after Githanjali.
The film has been mainly shot in the US. The audio will be released in the last week of March and the film in April. Sindhu Tulani, Sapthagiri and Raksha are part of the cast.
