Anjali, Raai Laxmi team up for ‘Ananda Bhairavi’

Anjali and Raai Laxmi have joined hands for a female-centric entertainer.  Titled ‘Ananda Bhairavi’, the film will be directed by Karri Balaji.  Ramesh Reddy Itikela of Harevan Entertainments is bankrolling this project.

“It’s going to be a mix of entertainment and thrills.  Anjali, who plays the titular role, will be relatable and remind people of the women they come across in life.  A young hero will be paired up with her,” the director says.  The film is admittedly based on a real incident.  

The film will go on the floors from January.  Ravi Kishan, ‘Kalakeya’ Prabhakar, Dhanraj, ‘Sathyam’ Rajesh, Asish Vidyarthi, Brahmaji and Sri Harsha are part of the cast.  

Mani Sharma, who recently composed the music for ‘DevaDas’, has been roped in as the music director.  Cinematography is by PG Vinda.
