Anjali not ready for 'Appa Takaru'

Director Suraj, who is directing Jayam Ravi, Trisha and Anjali for 'Appa Takaru', says the 'Angadi Theru' actress was initially not ready to accept the offer.
"When I contacted her, she said she was in no mood to act in films. But when she heard the story, she was mightily impressed and readily came forward to be part of the movie," the filmmaker says.
Suraj says 'Appa Takaru' will be a mix of comedy, romance, sentiments and thrill. "Jayam Ravi and Suri will bring the roofs down. While Trisha plays a modern girl, Anjali plays a rural belle," he says.
