Actress Anjali was seen this year on screen in director Ram's Peranbu in a supporting role, and was later seen playing the female lead in the 3D horror movie Lisaa, which was a commercial failure. The actress is now a part of several movies in Tamil and Telugu.

Anjali was also acting in the multilingual project Nishabdham/ Silence starring Anushka Shetty and Madhavan in lead roles and directed by Hemant Madhukar. This movie produced by screenwriter Kona Venkat and People Media Factory will release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, English and Malayalam.

After revealing that Anushka plays Sakshi, a mute artist and Madhavan plays a celebrity musician named Anthony, the team has released the character poster of Anjali, announcing that she plays Maha, a crime detective agent with Seattle Police department. The teaser of Nishabdham releases on November 7.
