State offers job to Ariyalur Anitha's brother

Last September, when Anitha took the extreme step to end her life owing to NEET, the country was in a state of shock and disappoinment. The government announced that it would provide the family with a solatium of R.7,00,000 in addition to a government job to one of the family members.

As said, the TN government has given Anitha's brother Sathish Kumar a Juniour Assistant post in the Tamil Nadu Medical Plant Farms and Herbal Medicine Corporation Limited (TAMPCOL). The appointment order pertaining to this was handed over by Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami to Sathish Kumar. While Anitha's family objected to receive any aid from the state earlier, after talks and convincing from the side of the government the family has accepted this.
