The beautiful-looking Anisha Ambrose hadn't had luck for more more than three years now. Her debut film Alias Janaki in 2013 bombed at the box office. After working in a Kannada film meanwhile, she counted again on Sundeep Kishan's Run, which too recently sank without a trace. Looks like, finally, 'acche din' are hers.

While she currently awaits the release of Chandrasekhar Yeleti's Manamantha in a few days' time, her second Kannada film Karva already has had a very good run in Karnataka. If she is enjoying the current phase, she also feels a bit sorry that she didn't get to share screen space with either Mohanlal or Gauthami in the awaited human drama, Manamantha.

Talking with a national daily about her failed tryst with Sardaar Gabbar Singh last year, she says that although she was asked to meet Pawan Kalyan, she was not told what the role was. While it was widely reported that Anisha might be a part of the big-ticket film, it never happened to her. "I was asked not to sign any other film by the makers of SGS. But sometimes, bad publicity works out for your good," she has been quoted as saying.
