Anirudh Ravichander is one of the busiest music composers in Tamil cinema handling several projects including Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Darbar', Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' and 'Thalapathy 64' among others. His handsome looks and showmanship when on stage has prompted many filmmakers to approach him for leading man roles which he has declined so far.

Director Nelson of Nayanthara's 'Kolamavu Kokila' fame has posted a casting call on twitter for actors for various roles for his next movie. Anirudh has posted "Ok I will mail you. Pls check and revert.". Is this just a humor play with his close friend or has the acting bug bitten him are questions that could be answered soon. It has been reported that Nelson's next movie is produced by Sivakarthikeyan who also plays the lead.
