We all know how worse public property and the people of the land were affected when Kerala was hit by monstrous floods. Thousands rushed to the help of fellow humans in times of distress, helping, saving as much as one could. And here’s a group of people who did not forget about our loyal four-legged friends.
Members of The Pound from Chennai were at the forefront of helping stranded dogs in Keral floods. A team had been touring through flood affected Kerala for the past three days and have been rescuing as many dogs, pets as possible. Today alone about 18 dogs were rescued by the efforts of the team despite the tough circumstances.
Not resting for a moment the team is already moving onto their next location to continue their rescue services. It is worth mentioning here that during times of crisis, such well coordinated animal rescue missions remind us about the love we have towards our canine mates.
