Dialogue writers turning directors is nothing new in Kannada. The example of MS Ramesh is before us. MS Ramesh proved his mettle in direction too.

Now comes is Anilkumar. The dialogue writer of 'Kempe Gowda' super hit Kannada film Anilkumar got noticed in the star Kichcha Sudeep and Ragini film. That has earned him a direction in the prestigious banner of Ramu International.

Anilkumar one line story explained to producer Ramu and his dialogues in the previous film impressed him. He asked Anilkumar further polish and progress his work with dialogues. After two months Anilkumar came before producer Ramu and convinced him with dialogues. That is 'Shakthi' evolution for top actress Malashri.

Mahatma Gandhi and Subhas Chandra Bose elements Anilkumar is clubbing in this film. Producer Ramu was also looking for a film on the lines of 'Mudhalvan and Indian'. That has made Anilkuamr to convince Ramu on his script with further strength.

The focus of this film is on corruption in politics. Anilkumar is shooting in Mandya, Maddur, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. There is one song for the film from music director Vardhan. Sudhakar is the cameraman.
