Anil Sunkara gets ‘Goodachari’ rights, release date sealed

‘Goodachari’ is one of the slickest spy thrillers ever made in Telugu.  Starring Adivi Sesh as a spy, the film has been directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka.   

The news is that noted producer Anil Sunkara has bagged the distribution rights of the seemingly well-made movie.  He will release the entertainer in the Telugu states in association with his AK Entertainments.  While the makers are silent on the nitty-gritty of the deal between Sunkara and the producers (Abhishek Pictures, People Media Factory and Vista Dream Merchants), the distributor is looking forward to releasing the thriller in a wide way.  

The film’s recently released teaser has clocked four million digital views. “We made the film on high technical values.  It was shot in 168 different locations for 116 days,” the makers say.

Miss India 2013 Sobhita Dhulipala is debuting in Telugu with this one.  Besides being Supriya Yarlagadda’s comeback film, ‘Goodachari’ also features the likes of Prakash Raj in key roles.  It will hit the screens on August 3.
