Anil Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee are the latest names to join the cast of the ambitious animation film ‘Mahabharat’.

According to IndiaGlitz sources, Anil has lent his voice to the character of Karna while Manoj has dubbed for Yudishtir’s character in the animated retelling of the Indian epic. In fact, the actors were spotted at the Future Works Studio in Andheri recently.

Confirming their addition to the cast, the film’s producer Jayantilal Gada stated, "Both Anil and Manoj have shown full commitment. It was very gracious on their part to agree to impart voices to two very important characters in my film."

While Anil took 15 days to complete his work, Manoj worked on the project for 4 days.

"Anil gave a lot to my film. Despite his hectic schedule, he took time off to come to the dubbing studio for more than two weeks," added Gada.

The animation film has a star studded cast of voices with Amitabh Bachchan (Bheeshma Pitamah), Vidya Balan (Draupadi), Sunny Deol (Bheem) and Ajay Devgn (Arjun).

But the makers are still on the lookout for a voice for the villain of the epic, Duryodhan.

Gada is planning to release the film this Diwali but when asked about a clash with the other big festival release ‘Krrish 3’, he said "No we’re not going to clash with Hrithik Roshan’s film, we’ll release a week before or later, but in the festive season."
