Ajay Devgan has shared the sad news of the death of his younger brother Anil Devgan last night. In his statement on social media he has written "I lost my brother Anil Devgan last night. His untimely demise has left our family heartbroken. ADFF & I will miss his presence dearly. Pray for his soul. Due to the pandemic, we will not have a personal prayer meet"

Anil Devgan was 45 at the time of his death and is survived by his wife and a son and the cause of his death is unknown as of now. He has directed four films in his career with three starring Ajay Devgan namely 'Raju Chacha', 'Blackmail' and ' Son of Sardaar' and 'Haal-e-dil' starring Amita Pathak, Nakuul Mehta.

Anil Devgan was also a key person in their home banner Ajay Devgan FFilms founded by his late father Veeru Devgan and brother.
