Anil and Harshvardhan Kapoor share an update on Abhinav Bindra biopic

Few years back, it was announced that father son duo Anil and Harshvardhan Kapoor will be seen sharing screen in the biopic of Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra. Harshvardhan was supposed to play Abhinav while Anil would've played his father. However, due to pandemic and other reasons, the project hasn't been materialised yet. Recently, while promoting their upcoming Netflix thriller 'Thar', Anil and Harshvardhan shared an update on Abhinav Bindra biopic as well.
When quizzed about the project, Anil Kapoor told Pinkvilla, That’s the next thing that I am very passionately excited about. We are at the moment in pre-production because that film needs a lot of planning. So, I think that’s the next film both of us are looking forward to at least I am and I am sure even Harsh is also looking forward to starting that film.
However, Harshvardhan shared that he focusing all his attention on 'Thar' as of now. He stated, Honestly, I haven’t thought about it too much but the idea right now is the full focus on delivering this film. It’s very hard to think about any other character right now, to be honest. Just want to kind of deliver this film, take some time off to recalibrate the brain and settle into being me again and myself again and then go.
Directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary, 'Thar' is first production venture by Harshvardhan and it is set to release on. Netflix on 6th of May.
