Father-son duo Anil and Harshvardhan Kapoor are all set to captivate the audience with their upcoming Netflix thriller 'Thar'. The trailer of the same was released on Monday and it gave a glimpse of dark, gritty and rustic undertones of the film. As the name suggests, the film is set in western Rajasthan where the dry and sandy terrain of Thar desert lies.

The plot seems to follow a series of killings which somehow involve an antique dealer (played by Harshvardhan Kapoor) while Anil Kapoor plays a cop, who is investigating these killings. The trailer also introduced some grey seeming characters played by Satish Kaushik and Fatima Sana Sheikh.

The official synopsis of the film reads, "Thar follows antique dealer Siddharth’s journey through a remote village in Rajasthan that has recently been rocked by a series of violent killings. As the local cop Surekha Singh investigates these killings, he crosses paths with Siddharth. Will that encounter be the only one?”

It seems like 'Thar' will be an interesting watch for people who love old western movies and for fans of crime dramas in general.
