It's known that Akkineni Nagarjuna is going to team up with director Praveen Sattaru later in 2021. The film, which is yet to be titled, is a yet-to-be-shot action thriller.
The news is that the 16-year-old Anikha Surendran has reportedly been chosen for a role in the film. The 'PSV Garuda Vega' director is said to have liked her after watching Gautham Menon-directed 'Queen'. Once a child artist, Anikha is known for playing soft roles in Tamil and Malayalam. It has to be seen what is her role in Nag's film will be. It will be her Telugu debut. She is also known for Ajith's 'Viswasam' and is going to be seen in 'Maamanithan' (Tamil) soon.
Nag is waiting for the release of 'Wild Dog', which is directed by Ahishor Solomon. The film will likely release in theatres in April and will head to a Netflix release soon.
As for Sattaru, he is currently waiting for the release of '11th Hour' on Aha. A thriller, it stars Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead. "It is the story of how a woman survives in the man's world. There is a fine line between being righteous and becoming bad. '11th Hour' is rich in human relations, emotions, and what a woman goes through in the corporate world on a daily basis," Sattaru had said last year about the web film.
