YVS' Rey to release in March

Rey, starring Sai Dharam Tej (Chiru's sister's elder son), is almost done but for two songs and the fighting sequences. For YVS Chowdhary, it is the sixth film as producer and ninth film as director. Sayami Kher, Shabana Azmi's niece, is the heroine.

Lyricist-turned-director to direct Rohith

After writers turning into director, it is the turn of a lyricist. Krishna Chaitanya, who has penned the lyrics for films like Brindavanam, Ishq, OMF, Solo, Pilla Jamindaru, Yevadu, Baadshah, Greeku Veerudu, Swamy Ra Ra, Gunde Jari Gallanthayyinde and Vikram-Jiiva's David, will soon direct Nara Rohith.

Mirchi to release on Feb 8

The producers of Mirchi have announced that everything on the post-production front is almost done and that the film will be submitted to the Censor Board very soon. "We have made the film without compromising anywhere. Koratala Shiva (writer-turned-director) has made the film with high technical values."

Osei Osei.. to release on Feb 7

Osei Osei Vadilesi Vellipoke is a film starting debutants who were selected by Kamal Hassan. Made in Tamil, this youthful romantic entertainer has comedy elements. Dubbed into Telugu, it tells the story of two youngsters and how their relationship is full of love, romance, likes, squabbles and banter.

We know that several top line actors, including Rajinikanth, have come out in support of Kamal Hassan and his controversial film in the wake of Tamil Nadu government's banning of the film. Prakash Raj's terming of the ban as "cultural terrorism" said it all. Siddharth, Lakshmi Manchu and Bollywoodians like Anurag Kashyap have tweeted their views.
