However, an interview to a popular TV channel didn't go well. The questions ranged from the drug scandal that has dragged Tollywood to some personal questions. When the host asked the star about the alleged differences within his family, he tried to rubbish them. From what can be inferred from the interview's edited promo, Dhanush walked out in the middle of the interview, saying, "This is a very stupid interview". He is visibly angry in the video.

He is heard wondering why he would undergo mental agony. "Who said I went through mental agony?" he shot back at the interviewer. It seems questions about the alleged differences between him and Rajinikanth were asked.
