Angelina Jolie is not only one of the most popular leading ladies of Hollywood but also one of the most active philantrophist and activist. Recently she addressed the U.N. Peacekeeping Defense Ministerial Conference in Vancouver and took up the subject of sexual violence against women which has rocked Hollywood asking the global organization to step in.
Jolie has stated "Sexual violence is everywhere – in the industry where I work, in business, in universities, in politics, in the military, and across the world, It is cheaper than a bullet, and it has lasting consequences that unfold with sickening predictability that make it so cruelly effective,".
