Making a film in Kannada is the wish of Tamil speaking producer Raghavendra who is in plum position in L and T Company. So he has invested Rs.2 crores on the urge of his wife Smt Jayasudha. Raghavendra is one investor who is fulfilling the needs of his wife in making a Kannada film.

Staying in Bangalore for last 10 years Raghavendra made some analysis before accepting the script of ‘Angaraka’. The film title ‘Angaraka’ meaning ‘Mars’ has nothing to do with the planet. It is the need and existence of ritual and existence of love and humanity director Srinivas Kaushik is tackling in the film.

Srinivas Kaushik from action and suspense films in the past has made a family sentimental film with clash of ideologies and what exactly is the need of the hour. The film ‘Angaraka’ has been given ‘U’ certificate without any cut has got some patting from the regional censor members.

Pranitha is traditional in her role while Hardhika Shetty is bubbly in her portrayal of character.

Thriller Manju, Mass Madha and Kaurava Venkatesh in stunts, Murali, Dhanu and Kandhar choreography and BL Babu Cinematography are part of the technical team of ‘Angaraka’.
