'No Problem' was one of the major disappointments of 2010 and its director Anees Bazmee has no qualms in admitting the fact that the film neither set the box office on fire nor did it find any critical appreciation. As he now closely follows the repsonse to his latest release 'Thank You', he reflects on his Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor starrer 'No Problem' and believes that it was due to glaring gaps in writing that did the film in.

"In isolation there were certain elements in the film that did go well. A couple of songs were of chartbuster variety while a few comic scenes worked with audience as well. However the most important element, the film's script, didn't bind it all together," says Bazmee.

He also feels that lack of emotional depth in the film was another reason due to which 'No Problem' didn't find any takers.

"If you look at 'Singh Is Kinng', 'Welcome' or 'No Entry', each of these films was boasting of strong emotional quotient as well despite the comic treatment," he says, "This was missing in 'No Problem'. I have realized that and have corrected myself in 'Thank You' and 'Ready'."

A confession like this comes as a surprise from Bazmee since in the times when not many film makers are ready to own their failures; he is not shying away from admitting areas where he went wrong.

"What's the point in hiding any facts," he says, "You would only be fooling yourself if you deny your failures. If my movie fails, I should be held accountable."
