The popular and beautiful Aindrita Ray has been replaced in ‘Jarasandha’ opposite action hero Vijay in the direction of super hit director Shashank.

When the film was announced Aindrita Ray who paired with Vijay in ‘Junglee’ was announced as heroine. Vijay and Aindrita Ray are considered hit pair on Kannada screen.

Now the news is Pranitha who starred in ‘Porkhi’ with challenging star Darshan as heroine and later acted in two Telugu films is playing heroine replacing Aindrita Ray.

‘Jarasandha’ has got nothing to do with mythological personality of the epic Mahabharatha. It is an action film from consecutive hit films director Shashank. After Sixer, Moggina Manasu, Krishnan Love Story director Shanshank is on an action cinema this time.

Gangadhar and Basavaraj who made ‘Shourya’ last year are joint producers. Dynamic hero Devaraj, Roopa Devi, Rangayana Raghu and others are in the cast.

Shekar Chandru is the cameraman and Arjun scores the music. Ravi Verma is handling the stunts, Harha is the choreographer.
