Andrea is a singer first

  • IndiaGlitz, [Friday,July 03 2009]

Her crackling voice has already earned her fame, with songs like 'Karka Karka' (Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu) and 'Kannum Kannum' (Anniyan). Andrea’s three songs in her own voice in ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ have only added to her reputation as a bankable singer.

The actress might play an important role of an archaeologist in her forthcoming 'Aayirathil Oruvan', but she is primarily a singer. In fact, the actress is a known name in music circles, with a few gigs to her credit.

Besides these, the actress, a renowned pianist in the city, also coaches young children to learn the piano. But these occupations of hers took a backseat when she signed on 'Aayirathil Oruvan', which took two years to film.

With the film’s shoot complete, the actress it seems has resumed her musical interests, and is also planning on a concert soon. Way to go, Andrea!
