West Indies player Andre Russell has said that, whatever the match is, he will never see the scoreboard whenever he's batting. The 17th match of the ongoing IPL Season was held yesterday between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders, and Russell played a major part in the match.

Batting first, RCB scored 205 runs with Kohli and De Villiers scoring good knocks, and chasing 206, KKR won the match by 5 wickets in 19.1 overs, as Russell scored a 13 ball 48 studded with 7 sixes and one boundary. From a point where winning was difficult, Russell changed the match with his massive knock.

Post match, Russell said that even as he set out to bat, he had decided to hit as many sixes as he can, and only because of that he was able to smash seven sixes. "Whenever I bat, I never see the scoreboard and focus only on scoring runs quicker. I'll deliver good performances for Kolkata" said Russell.
