Prashanth who ruled Tamil cinema before the Vijay-Ajith era still has his huge fan base intact. Those who have been waiting anxiously to see his multi-talent its time to fasten their seat belts for a big treat soon.  Earlier Prashanth's father and actor-director-producer Thiagarajan got the South Indian languages to remake rights of the sleeper hit Bollywood film 'Andhadhun'.

The Tamil remake has been titled 'Andhagan' and Prashanth is in the lead role played by Ayushmann Khurrana in the original.  Simran and Priya Anand are cast in the roles of Tabu and Radhika Apte respectivelyh while Navarasa Nayagan Karthik in on board in the special role of a fading movie star played by Anil Dhawan in the original.  Yogi Babu, Vanitha Vijayakumar and K.S. Ravikumar are also in the cast.

Kalaipuli S Thanu has announced that he has grabbed the worldwide theatrical rights of 'Andhagan' which is directed by Thiagarajan with music by Santhosh Narayanan.  The release date will be announced soon.
