Actor Prashanth was last seen on screen in the action thriller Johnny, the remake of Hindi hit Johnny Gaddar, and had also played a supporting role in the Telugu movie Vinaya Vidheya Rama as Ramcharan's brother. Now the actor has bagged a big project.

Prashanth will play the lead role in the Tamil remake of Bollywood movie Andhadhun, which had recently won the national award for Best actor for Ayushmann Khurrana. The movie was directed by Sriram Raghavan who also directed Johnny Gaddar.

Prashanth's father Thiagarajan has got the remake rights of the movie, and the cast and crew including director will be announced soon. Prashanth has passed grade 4 in Trinity College London, and is an expert piano player. He is also acting in another movie alongside beauty contest winner Anukreethy Vas.
