Last year, the Bollywood movie Andhadhun, a crime comedy starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte and directed by Sriram Raghavan was released, and the movie emerged a critically acclaimed and commercially successful outing at the box office.

Now, the movie which was released in China on April 3 as "The Piano Player", has been blasting collection records in China, as the movie has raced past the milestone of 300 crores in China. The movie has crossed the collections of the Hollywood blockbuster Shazam released recently.

Andhadhun is currently in second position in China box office for the weekend, toppling Shazam, as Shazam has grossed 40.4 million dollars and Andhadhun has grossed 43.45 millions, which amounts to 303.36 crores INR. It must be noted that whole collection of Andhadhun in its original release was just 95.63 crores. Now Andhadhun has emerged number 3 in the list of highest grossing Indian films in China, behind Dangal and Secret Superstar, and recently surpassed Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It must be noted that plans are on to remake the movie in Tamil with Siddharth, Trisha and Ramya Krishnan in lead roles.
