Chandra Siddhartha is planning to release his film Andari Banduvaya in Feburary. The music is slated for a release on the 30th of this month. His film Aa Naluguru was an award-winning venture and since then he has been dubbed as a director with soul. Though his novel-based film Idi Sangathi with Tabu and Abbas in the leads did not do too well at the box office, it got lavish praises from critics.
Recently, Chandra Siddhartha told in an interview that a foreign filmmaker telephoned him to congratulate him for Idi Sangathi's narrative. He is yet again back to a subject that deals with human values and more. The latest news is that Padmapriya is playing a role in the film.
Meanwhile, Siddhartha has completed his new film titled Andari Banduvaya with Gamyam's Sharwanand in the lead. Padmapriya is the heroine. LIke his previous ventures, this one is spun around sensitive emotions and human sensibilities, according to the director. As the director feels that Gen N's thoughts are not limited and superficial, and they stretch beyond the purview of my life and my family, the protagonist here is someone who is universal in his thinking. It is produced by Utopia Entertainments.
Let us expect a film with some depth from the talented director-writer. The film also has Naresh, Krishna Bhagawan, MS Narayana, RK (mama of Hyderabad Nawabs fame) playing key roles. Anoop Rebens is the music director.
Hope the film turns out to be truly thought-provoking and mature, as Chandra's films have always been.
