Officially announcing the release date of Andala Rakshasi, Dil Raju and Rajamouli (who is one of the producers now) spoke high about the film.

Dil Raju said, "When I watched the trailer and listened to the songs of Andala Rakshasi, my curiosity levels increased as it was the case with the general audience. After watching the film, I felt that Hanu is a talented director. This is a sensible subject. Even though it has been made with newcomers, one doesn't feel that."

Rajamouli bought a share in the film because of three reasons. "When I watched Hanu’s short film on AIDS, its emotions mesmerized me. The second reason is Sai garu. When I narrated to him the story of Eega, he immediately grasped its emotions and encouraged me. The third reason is, this is a kind of story which will give a guaranteed return. I am happy that I will see my name as a producer."
